Following are some questions you should answer to ensure you are prepared to conduct an effective response to a spill in your facility. Are you prepared?

• What size spill kit do I need?
• How many locations are at risk (fuel pumps, bulk storage, dispensing areas, etc.)?
• Where will the kit be located in relation to potential spill areas? Vehicle, forklift, loading dock?
• What is the potential volume of spill at various locations?
• How many products and what type could potentially spill (hydrocarbons, acids, caustic, glycol, etc.)?
• Are storm drains or nearby waterways at risk in the event of a spill?
• Does your mobile equipment fleet have on board response kits?
• What is the worst case scenario?

VEHICLE SPILL KIT (VSK)
Economy kit for small nuisance spills during refueling, oil changes, etc. Comes in a zippered clear poly bag, in a water/oil resistant tough nylon bag with zippered closure and carry handles (VSK-HD), or 20 litre pail (VSK-P). Protection and convenience at a great price; ideal for storing behind the seat or in the trunk!

TRUCK SPILL KIT (TSK)
For operations such as loggers, professional truckers or heavy equipment. In a high visibility water/oil resistant tough nylon bag with zippered closure and carry handles. For job application bigger than a VSK, yet still easily fits behind the seat.

This is the ideal kit for truckers - why take up space in the cab when you can bolt this waterproof, lockable container to the outside of the cab. Out of the way, but handy when you need it!
